ABOUT PINNACLE

A different kind of advisory relationship.

Pinnacle Strategic Advisory helps organizations navigate complexity, modernization, and meaningful change by bringing together executive experience, strategic thinking, practical implementation, and an understanding of the people and processes behind the work.

We work with leaders who may know that something needs attention, but may not yet know exactly what the problem is, what kind of help would make a difference, or where to begin.

Our role is to help make sense of what is happening, determine what actually needs to change, and work alongside the organization to make meaningful improvement practical and sustainable.

Why Pinnacle Exists

Organizations are often asked to change faster than they can reasonably absorb.

Technology evolves. Expectations change. Organizations grow. Processes that once worked become strained. Leaders inherit challenges they did not create. And sometimes the organization simply reaches a point where what worked before no longer works as well as it needs to.

The answer is not always a major transformation.

Sometimes the organization needs clarity. Sometimes it needs a better process, stronger alignment, a more practical use of technology, or simply an outside perspective that can help leaders see the situation differently.

Pinnacle exists to help organizations understand those moments and determine what makes sense from there.

What Pinnacle Brings

Pinnacle brings together experience that often sits in separate organizational disciplines.

Executive Perspective
Experience working with leaders and organizations through complexity, change, and competing priorities.
Strategic Thinking
Practical Implementation
AI & Emerging Technology
Practical perspective on where AI and emerging technologies may create value, where they may add unnecessary complexity, and what organizations should understand before moving forward.

What Makes Pinnacle Different

We believe the difference is less about what we call ourselves and more about how we work.

>  We Understand Before We Recommend

We don't begin with a predetermined solution. We begin by understanding the organization, the people involved, what has already been tried, and what is actually happening.

>  We Respect What Already Works

Organizations have more potential than they often realize. We look for the knowledge, capability, relationships, processes, and systems worth building upon before assuming something needs to be replaced.

>  We Right-Size the Response

Not every challenge requires transformation. We distinguish between what genuinely needs to change and what simply needs to work better.

>  We Build Capacity, Not Dependence

Our goal is not to become the organization's permanent answer. We want the people we work with to leave the engagement more capable, confident, and equipped to continue improving.

>  We Work With the Organization, Not Just the Executive

Leaders make decisions, but organizations make change. We work to understand the perspectives and realities of the people who will ultimately carry the work forward.

The Experience Behind Pinnacle

Pinnacle Strategic Advisory was founded by Howard White, whose career spans executive leadership, systems and process design, project and program leadership, organizational transformation, and more than a decade of direct advisory work with small businesses and nonprofit organizations.

That experience includes work with 390+ organizations, from small businesses and nonprofits to complex initiatives involving people, processes, technology, leadership, and implementation.

Pinnacle may be relatively young.
The experience and perspective behind it are not.

Those experiences shaped the way Pinnacle works today: practical, respectful, collaborative, and focused on leaving organizations stronger than we found them.

The Person Behind Pinnacle

Howard's career has centered on helping people and organizations make sense of complexity, improve how work gets done, and turn good ideas into meaningful action.

After years of working across leadership, technology, systems, processes, projects, programs, and organizational change, he created Pinnacle to bring those experiences together in a way that is practical, collaborative, and genuinely useful to the organizations he serves.

One Human. A Lot of Possibilities.

Pinnacle is intentionally human at its core. But that doesn't mean everything has to be done by one person.

Howard is actively exploring how AI agents and other emerging tools can extend the capabilities of a small advisory practice - helping with research, analysis, organization, content, project support, and other work while keeping the human relationship at the center.

Most of Pinnacle's work will not be primarily focused on AI, and certainly not on developing AI agents. But as organizations continue exploring how AI can improve the way they work, questions about how to use it effectively, responsibly, and practically are likely to become a more common part of the conversations Pinnacle has with leaders.

Those opportunities may include improving efficiency, providing more responsive service, reducing repetitive work, reallocating people's time toward higher-value activities, strengthening analysis and decision support, or creating new capabilities that would otherwise require significantly more resources.

The goal isn't to replace people with technology. It's to give people more capacity to do meaningful work.
